I have had this WebSite since 2000 and have been creating graphics using Paint Shop Pro since 22 June 2002. I have always drawn and painted a little as well. I have often written down my thoughts and emotions. Now don't be mislead, a lot of my writing and poetry is inspired by a graphic I worked with, or maybe a dream I had, or maybe something in real life. I won't be telling you which is real and which is imaginary, I will let you be the judge of that.
When I discovered Paint Shop Pro it became my main hobby, because of lack of space and materials I use it now for all my graphic work. You could say that my computer is my easel or studio. I have learned a lot from tutorials that are so kindly made available on the Internet. I have also written a few tutorials of my own and welcome you to try them.
Originally when I began this site, I called it Words On Wings and my feature was The Lady Loves Poetry, I was referring to my Great Grandmother and I featured some old poems or songs that I had found in a notebook that had belonged to her. After a while a few of my visitors were calling me Ladylove, which is a nickname I then adopted. After a while I felt that name did not suit me and changed my signature on my graphics to LLG (Ladylove Graphics) then again after a change in how I feel about what I do I felt like making a statement! ie;
"This is me. This is who I am. I paint and write, whenever I can."
That is when I began to sign my work PCArt (P.C. being my first and second name initials).
Then I also adopted the name Rosehawk being from RhoZAUK which is a combination of places I have lived, Rhodesia, (now Zimbabwe), ZA (South Africa) and UK (United Kingdom).
